Fruits of Fortune
This Blender project is a playful exploration of the concept introduced by Maurizio Cattelan's banana art piece, which famously sold for millions. Inspired by the absurdity of that moment, I wondered, "What if other fruits had their time in the spotlight?"
Behind The Process
I experiment with attaching a variety of fruits to walls using unconventional methods like tape, blu-tack, screws, and pins. The fruits were sourced from Fab, while I modeled the objects, such as the tape, screws, and other materials, myself using Blender. At first, I tried to come up with some deep meaning behind the objects I was using, but then I realized I was literally referencing a piece of duct tape on a banana. So, I decided to just have fun with it, thinking of random ways to stick fruit to a wall and calling it a day. This project was simply for fun, sparked by a random thought with no serious goal behind it.Production Details
